I am working on standalone secure notes application.
I use the secure notes feature in the MacOS keyring to store some sensitive information. The keyring in gnome is not as versatile and requires more structured data. Additionally I don't always use gnome. My main laptop uses XFCE and my pi-top uses FVWM. So a standalone app was called for
The app I am building is called secure_notes. Its been under development since 2019.
It uses the built in Crypto package with AES encryption. Each document is separately encrypted and can use a different keyphrase.
